Dance School Specialising in a Range of Dance Styles
Founded in 1991, Karen Chapman School of Dancing in Harlow is a warm and friendly dance school that prides itself on its personal touch. We are delighted to offer a diverse array of dance styles for dancers of all ages, including tap, ballet, theatre craft, freestyle/disco for children, and ballet and tap for adults.
We take great pride in our engaging, fun-filled shows held throughout the year and maintain a 100% pass rate in all examinations! - Our pupils examine with the International Dance Teachers Association each March and July, and we have held a 100% pass rate across every exam we enter.

- From 150 successful examinations, 35 of our students gained honours at 85% and over, and five of our Pre-Juvenile group ballet entrants achieved highly commended.

Areas We Cover
Dance Classes for Harlow and the Surrounding Towns
Our studio is at Moot House, The Stow, Harlow, CM20 3AG, in the centre of Harlow, and our pupils travel in from across Essex and the Hertfordshire border. Our annual shows are staged at The Playhouse in Harlow and at Rhodes Theatre in Bishop’s Stortford, so families from either side of the county line have a theatre close by.
